I am thinking about upgrading to a better tubing bender and would then sell my current one.

It is air over hydraulic and comes with 4 bending dies (1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", 1-3/4"). This bender is capable of bending up to 90 degrees.

I paid around $800 for it and look to get $500 out of it to fund the new one.

Thanks

Mark

You can make all kinds of cool stuff with it for your truck, jeep, and atv... There is nothing wrong with it, I just need something a little more precise and more oriented toward production type work if I ever plan to get my fab business off the ground.

E-Z bend is the brand name on it. It is made in Davenport, IA.

It mandrel bends tubing in the sizes previously listed. You can buy a 2" die for it if you want to do that as well.

It bend in the vertical plane, so you don't need a ton of space to use it. It comes with an air driven hydraulic pump so you don't have to wear yourself on each bend. The pump was $150 by it self.

My only real complaint is that it can only bend 90 degrees. I think I will need the ability to bend closer to 180 for some types of stuff.

I am looking at one from Pro-Tools that is $700 without any dies and the dies are another $300 each. So I think $500 is a pretty good deal for someone that wants the ability to build a roll cage, sliders, bumpers, etc. The dies that come with it will cover the majority of stuff you would want to build.

I will also include the bending software that came with it. It is pretty basic, but gives you the measurements for specific bend configurations.
